As part of my efforts to make a living from the web I have been researching a number of options.  One of these is around domaining which at its simplest involves buying natural type in domain names and parking these at compaies like Sedo. 

I plan to be pretty broadminded about where I will draw the line in chasing the dollar, but for some people there doesn’t seem to be any sort of limit.  The dissapearance of Madeleine McCann is a case in point.  The official site is www.findmadeleine.com

However at least a couple of domainers are trying to profit from Madelaine’s dissapaearance and have registered similar domains as follows:

findmadaline.com – is pointed to a Sedo parking page, needless to say the person who has registered this has also hidden behind Moniker Privacy services. 

findmadeleine.co.uk  – is currently pointed to a blank page currently so may not be someone out to make a quick buck, but if they do point this page at a parking site I will have no problem showing their address here since they haven’t even been bright enough to hide their address.

I would urge people not visit either of these links and I have also removed all my adsesense from my blog while this article is current.
