I have read an interesting article by Kyle Pott then come to know you from his blog comment. I found it was not easy to get that kind of income in the first month if can not generate 100,000 page view. Besides, with the number of page view it doesn't mean you will get that kind of income too.

I have not try yet. But I'm looking for any answer that can boost up my traffics. The most difficult to start a blog is to write a content. writing 50 content is not easy for a beginer because there have no traffics means no visitor. You don't know what to write, you don't know what your visitor want to read. Simply copy content from somewhere else will not bring your blog interesting.

The major of blog is to lt people find somethings new!

To setting up the whole things for a none technical person. I can said that! It can't even make $1. Don't talk about $100. Beginner have to take time to learn how to use the blog system. That's enough to take a month to learn. Talk about plugin that will waste a lots of time and the plugin not even works. For my experience I have take a week to setup a youtube video. Now still fail. I try many way many different plugin.

My advice here is to find what you want to blog. who is the focus group?

Then go for the simple blogger.com or wordpress.org use the features first. I saw many people still making money with a free blog.
