Can it be done?

It’s been a long time since I last wrote anything on this blog. It is not because I have lost interest in trying to make money online but more because my off line work has limited my plans. Just now and for the past 6 months I have been working overseas Monday to Friday. That in itself is not a huge problem but with a company firewall that is a complete bitch to view anything through the opportunity to research and attempt things has been severely restricted.

Despite that I have found some great resources and have tried a few things I have read about with some success, so I plan to share those with you in the coming weeks.

As it’s a new year I thought it was time to try and get back into the swing of updating this blog and what better way than to set out some goals for 2008. So here they are

2008 Goals

• Consistently make $2,000 per month from my online activities during the course of the year
• Invest in some quality domain names, probably .co.uk
• Lose 3 stones (20kg) in weight

Ok so the more sharp eyed amongst you would have noticed that final one doesn’t have much to do with the making money online, but hey it is important to me so it stays on the list!

Setting out goals is a great start for the year but it is just that, a start, so I have also broken down my goals into action plans to help me achieve them

2008 Action Plans

• Write at least 3 posts per week on this blog
• Set up at least a mini site for each domain name I have bought (more of that later)
• Learn as much as possible about SEO and focus on ranking at least one key site
• Seek out people who are experts in what I am doing and seek their advice

And for the weight loss goal

• cut out crisps and chocolate
• stop eating carbs after 6pm
• exercise at least 3 times per week.
